Adelaide eatery and bar, Public Café, located in the heart of the CBD, have been working hard to keep their doors open and serve quality coffee to its customers.

Catering to both the lingering foodie, as well as the grab-and go-crowds, Public has captured a loyal following with their friendly staff, trendy vibe and high-quality food and coffee since opening its doors in 2012.

Owners Danielle Elia & James Tambaki were motivated by the surrounding old railways and libraries in the community which have inspired their décor. And while COVID-19 restrictions have prevented patrons from enjoying a coffee at their café, it hasn’t stopped Danielle and James from creating their trendy vibes while supporting the local community.

The team have remained committed to operating in these uncertain times and have created ‘at home’ meal packs, which include home-made pasta, burgers and pastries; enabling Adelaide locals to order these delicious emails and have them delivered straight to their door by the new Public App.

In support of these changes and an increase in the takeaway trade, Grinders have provided a branded cart to create an additional serving area for takeaway coffee, along with social media support on the Grinders channels.

Each day Public Café attracts hundreds of customers with the popular Grinders Source blend, which is a versatile, fruity and complex three origin blend made up of 100% Arabica Fairtrade Organic coffees from Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea and Nicaragua.

When asked why they chose Grinders Coffee, James said it’s because of “the consistent coffee, amazing training and great customer service with an appetite to not just be a just a coffee supplier, but a business partner”.
